Tribute ceremony in honor of late Nabih Abu Al-Husn.

The President of the Administrative Committee of the Higher Metn Artisan Foundation, Mrs. Inas Nowaihed, was honored to accept the invitation of the syndicate of artists, Jihad Al-Atrash, to attend a tribute ceremony for the late artist and son of the Higher Metn, Nabih Abu Al-Hosn (Akhawat Shanayeh). The ceremony was held under the patronage and attendance of the Minister of Culture, Judge Mohammad Wissam Al-Mortada, in the town of Btekhnay on Sunday, September 18, 2022.

The event was attended by His Excellency Deputy Hadi Abu Al-Hassan and his spouse, as well as the President of the Lebanese Professional Artists Syndicate, George Chalhoub, and the President of the Musicians and Composers Syndicate, Na'im Badawi, and the renowned composer Mr. Fareed Abu Said. Also present were the siblings of the late artist, along with relatives, mayors, officials, and a large crowd of residents from the Higher Metn and beyond.

The ceremony featured a theatrical performance adapted from the late artist's work, presented by a group of young women and men from the Higher Metn region.

After the ceremony, the artist Jihad Al-Atrash and his wife invited Mrs. Inas Nowaihed, the esteemed presidents, and Mar Youssef Medical Clinic founder, Mr. Rabieh Abu Jawdi, for a dinner reception at their residence.
