The Higher Metn Artisan presented in collaboration with Carpenters by Joseph Hachem & co the first workshop from the series of training courses on the principles of carpentry.
In the Higher Metn Artisan, we strive to provide opportunities led by competent instructors to teach and train individuals in various professions. These professions empower individuals and equip them to face life's challenges. Mastering a profession remains a protective shield, allowing one to live with dignity and without humiliation.
The carpentry profession course may be considered the first of its kind in the Higher Metn region.
The carpentry fundamentals course consisted of two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical segment was presented by our colleague and professional instructor, Samer Abu Hamra As for the practical aspect, it was conducted in collaboration with our colleague, Mr. Joseph Hashem, at his workshop located in Qarnayel, Salimah Road. We extend our utmost appreciation to both of them for their efforts.
Following the course, a special exhibition showcasing the trainees' wooden products was held at the Municipality of Ras Al-Metn hall on June 16, 2023. During the event, the trainees had the opportunity to display and sell their wooden creations.
It is an opportunity created by the Higher Metn Artisan in collaboration with dedicated individuals to build and empower humans, enhancing their abilities and enabling them to reach their full potential.
