The Higher Metn Artisan held its annual Classical Theater Competition for the year 2022-2023, under the sponsorship of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education and in collaboration with the Professional Artists Syndicate in Lebanon. The competition took place at the Mar Youssef De Lyon School Theater in Deir Al-Harf and is one of the most significant and beneficial activities organized by the foundation for the youth.

The competition featured the participation of the following:

• St. Anthony's High School - Hammana
• Najib Baik Salha Official High School - Ras Al-Metn
• Green Hills Private School - Khalwat Falouga
• Qarnayel Official High School - Qarnayel.
• Al-Manar Modern School - Ras Al-Metn

The competition was judged by a panel of prominent Lebanese artists, including Nicolas Daniel, Michel Hurani, and Syndicate Jihad Al-Atarsh.

The rankings of the high schools were as follows:

First Place: Green Hills School - Khalwat Faouga.

Second Place: Najib Beik Salha Official High School - Ras Al-Metn.

Third Place: Al-Manar Modern School - Ras Al-Metn.

Fourth Place: St. Anthony's High School - Hammana.

Fifth Place: Qarnayel Official High School - Qarnayel.

At the end of the ceremony, participation certificates were awarded to all participants, and cash prizes were given to the top three winners in the first three places.

Congratulations to all our participants for their efforts in the competition. In trying and experiencing, there is victory.

The Higher Metn Artisan extends its gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the activity, with special thanks to the participating teams for their dedication and efforts. A heartfelt appreciation goes to Ms. Kristine Salameh, the head of Mar Youssef De Lyon Monastery, for graciously hosting the Higher Metn Artisan for the second consecutive year.

All appreciation goes to the members of the Higher Metn Artisan who tirelessly work towards building the individual, striving relentlessly without fatigue.
