The Higher Metn Artisan Foundation Launching Party
We launched The Higher Metn Artisan Foundation's start on Friday, November 26, 2021 through a ceremony held at the hall of Qalaat Al-Metn, under the patronage of the President of Al-Metn Al-A'la Municipalities Union and the Mayor of Ras Metn, Marwan Najib Bek Salha.
For those who may not have noticed the timing, this date was in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic crisis, after it had initially subsided and citizens had been reassured of its containment. However, it escalated again and the warnings became more severe, particularly on that date.
We want to say to everyone who wanted to attend but couldn't because they were infected with the coronavirus or because they were cautious about joining on that day, that we trust that they are with us and always keeping up with us. The days that followed the event proved that.
The launch event of The Higher Metn Artisan was necessary to introduce the Foundation, its reasons for formation, objectives, and vision. In short, to answer the questions: Who are we? What is our chosen role? What is the goal we hope to achieve?
We are grateful for everyone who attended the event despite the terrifying circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. Their presence is highly appreciated. We also appreciate those who sent their apologies for not being able to attend, whether through messages or calls. We understand that some circumstances may have prevented them from joining us, despite their intention to do so.
We are part of this social fabric, and The Higher Metn Artisan Foundation is just a part of this community that can complement the work of others and serve as a role model for others.
All we wish for is success and prosperity for all those who work for the betterment of society, humanity, and our country. It requires a lot of effort and perseverance to advance and progress, and we hope that everyone will continue to work towards these goals.
