The Higher Metn Artisan concluded on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, a workshop on the fundamentals of learning charcoal drawing, which commenced on Monday, August 14, 2023. The workshop was supervised by the visual artist Nour Al-Andari. Participation certificates were handed out to the attendees of the workshop, which distinguished itself in providing sufficient information about the basic principles of drawing. This knowledge serves as a solid foundation for talented individuals to embark on drawing with a strong base.

On the concluding day, Dr. Ikram Al-Ashkar (a lecturer at the Lebanese University, Faculty of Arts) made a gracious visit to the workshop site. She expressed her positive feedback on the workshop and the experiences shared by the participants. Her visit was a gesture of appreciation and gratitude.

The Higher Metn Artisan extends its gratitude to all those who contributed and assisted in delivering this knowledge through the charcoal drawing fundamentals workshop. Special thanks are directed to the administrators of the Social Center in Khalwat Falougha for their warm reception, as well as to the participants for their involvement throughout the two-week duration.
