The nature of the activity offered by The Higher Metn Artisan Foundation, in collaboration with the National Committee for Lebanese Children - Metn Region, can be inferred from its name.
The psychological well-being of children should be a priority for responsible states. While we may not assume the role of a governing state, we fulfill our duties out of a sense of responsibility towards our community and future generations.
A child requires continuous attention and care to foster their physical and psychological well-being. It is essential for parents or guardians to take the lead in nurturing their children and addressing any potential psychological challenges that may affect the child's emotional stability.
Hence, three workshops titled "Childhood, the Cornerstone" were conducted by a seasoned professional in the Higher Metn region during 2022, in the form of sessions that spanned several months for each workshop.
"Childhood, the Cornerstone" was presented by the psychological therapist Dr. Abeer Al Awar who has extensive experience in the field of psychological treatment and is a licensed psychotherapist.
