It is a foundation that includes a group of individuals from the area of The Higher Metn who possess scientific, practical, and social expertise in the fields that the foundation aims to train. Therefore, the goal was to unify these efforts together in order to establish the The Higher Metn Artisan Foundation.
The idea behind creating "The Higher Metn Artisan Foundation" was to focus on vocational, artisanal, and creative work in order to support and develop the community by helping them keep up with progress and development through providing the necessary knowledge. The foundation also aims to assist those who wish to master a craft to enable them to earn a living, as practical training is crucial for enhancing competence based on the needs of the market in Lebanon in general and in the The Higher Metn region in particular.

“We build” is a word that is easy to use and repeat, indicating that building people is the way to create a better society.
As stated in the foundation's definition, its main focus is on the true wealth, which is the building of individuals and society by providing assistance in vocational, creative, and academic training. This indicates that its goal is to serve all segments of society, regardless of their educational, cultural, and professional levels. When it was established, it was decided to be a support and aid for those who wish to benefit from the experiences, courses, and training that it will provide. Therefore, the foundation's interests are divided between academic, professional, and vocational aspects.

We will collaborate with recognized institutions and experts to conduct these courses, and to benefit from their experiences and provide accredited certificates to those who complete the courses. These courses will be divided into educational, vocational, and professional, as well as talent-building and cultural competitions.
