Classical Theater Competition among Higher Metn High Schools 2022 - 2023

The competition can be described as the first of its kind in the Metn region, and proudly we can say that it has had a positive impact among the high schools that participated last year in 2022, as well as the community at large.
It is essential to appreciate the role of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education for their interest and cooperation, as well as the colleagues at the Higher Metn Artisan and friends. They are the dedicated soldiers who tirelessly work to present the best possible image and benefit to the participants. We extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed and participated in the first season of the competition.
The experience of the high school students who formed the teams that participated in the first competition was motivating for them and opened up new horizons in achieving a dream that had been lingering in their minds, or it served as an opportunity for someone to discover their talent. As a result, a theatrical group was formed from some of these students, and we wholeheartedly support and encourage them to continue their journey.
It was an opportunity presented by the Higher Metn Artisan in collaboration with the Professional Artists Syndicate in Lebanon, under the leadership of Syndicate Georges Chalhoub, and with the artist Michel Hurani, who conducted a theater performance workshop for the participating teams during their preparation period for the competition. The judging committee consisted of experienced artists with a history in acting and directing. Here, we must acknowledge and express our appreciation and gratitude to our colleague and founding member of the Higher Metn Artisan and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Syndicate Jihad Al-Atrash, who believed in the idea and greatly contributed to its realization at the level we witnessed._
Today, we are on the verge of presenting the Classical Theater Competition among the high schools of the Higher Metn, and we are working to ensure that it stands out and surpasses its predecessor.
