Workshop in Calligraphy

One of the significant workshops offered by The Higher Metn Artisan in collaboration with Ras El Metn Municipality is the "Naskh Calligraphy Workshop."

Naskh calligraphy is one of the most important and foundational Arabic calligraphy styles. It is considered the basis from which other calligraphic styles emerge.

Naskh calligraphy is characterized by its clarity in reading, as each letter in the Arabic language appears fully and distinctly in words.

It also boasts the aesthetic of simplicity and the smooth flow of writing words and sentences.

This course is taught by a proficient master in arts and creativity, in addition to expertise in manual craftsmanship. He is an instructor at the School of Competencies and several educational institutes, possessing over 22 years of experience.

The workshop will be held over a span of 6 days, divided between Thursday and Friday in the month of October. It will commence on Thursday, October 5th, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The venue for the workshop is Ras El Metn Municipality's hall.

The beneficiaries of this workshop are school students, religious seminary pupils, and anyone interested in enhancing their proficiency in organized and structured writing.
