On Monday, September 12, 2022, His Eminence the Sheikh Al-Aql of the Druze sect, Dr. Sami Abi Al-Mouna, received a delegation from the administrative body of the Higher Metn Artisan Foundation at his residence in the town of Shanayh. The delegation included Mrs. Inas Nowaihed, Mrs. Antoinette Chahin, Mrs. Souad Al-Masri Abu Chahin, and the media committee member Mr. Talal Gharz Al-Din. They were accompanied by His Excellency the United Nations Ambassador for Human Rights, Dr. Bassam Jamal Al-Din, and the artist Afif Shayya. The purpose of the visit was to congratulate His Eminence on completing his first year in office as the head of the Druze sect. During the meeting, cultural topics and future activities of the Higher Metn Artisan Foundation were discussed, and His Eminence expressed his encouragement and support for their work. He also provided guidance on certain subjects that the association should address in its upcoming action plan.
