Good evening everyone,..
It is indeed a great honor for me to be present with you for the second year in this competition organized by the Higher Metn Artisan Foundation. Once again, I am privileged to represent His Excellency the Minister of Education in this evening, and he sends his greetings and best wishes for success to the association, its president, members, participating secondary schools, and the judging committee. This, in all honesty, indicates that our schools are still doing well, and our associations are thriving. By "our schools," I mean both public and private institutions, and this collaboration and participation show that we are on the right track. Today, we are in a prestigious school, and I am grateful for their hospitality for the second time.
This collaboration between the public and private sectors, particularly in the Higher Metn region, is a source of pride and honor for us. We are proud of it because it serves as a reason for the advancement of education in Lebanon.
Usually, I don't like to be too wordy, but on this occasion, it is necessary to express our gratitude. We must thank everyone who contributed to the success of the official exams that concluded yesterday, and thankfully, everything went well. Perhaps those who watched His Excellency's television interview yesterday heard the thanks directly, but I repeat it here on his behalf, extending appreciation to all those who truly contributed. A big thank you to all the schools, teachers, and students in both public and private sectors. Without them, we wouldn't have achieved this national accomplishment. There is one sole reason we succeeded: despite the challenging circumstances in our country where nothing seems to get done, we managed to complete the exams. Let me emphasize that we were capable of achieving the intermediate-level exams, which were unfortunately prohibited.
I extend my best wishes for success to all the participants from the secondary schools and the students. Congratulations in advance to the first, second, and third-place winners. I apologize once again for having to leave the event early.
Addressing my heartfelt words to Mrs. Inas, Mrs. Antoinette, and everyone present, we are always here alongside you, ready to support and nurture your activities.
Many thanks!
